Directions
Traveling from south or north
Take junction 29 on the M1 and the exit to Clay Cross. Continue along this road for approximately 4 miles until you reach the T junction with the A61 Derby/Chesterfield Road turn right then immediately left, continue on this road for 1 mile and the Hotel is on the right hand side.
From Chesterfield
Take A61 in the direction of Derby, continue along this road and at second roundabout (Royal Oak Pub) take last exit signposted Ashover & Littlemoor. Continue along this road for approximately 1.5 miles reaching open countryside. Take left run signposted Batemans Mill and continue on this road for approximately 400 yards, the Hotel is on your left hand side.
From Bakewell, Matlock and Chatsworth
Follow signs for Chesterfield, on entering chesterfield continue on main road following directions for M1. At main large roundabout take A61 in the direction of Alfreton & Derby and then follow directions as above.
From Derby (A38)
Turn off A38 in the direction of Alfreton & Chesterfield. Continue on this road until reaching Clay Cross, at second set of traffic lights in centre of Clay Cross, turn left just before a post office and continue on this road for approximately 1 mile, the hotel is on your right hand side.
