Dining at the Mill
The Hotel offers several dining options, starting the day with its renowned breakfast menu, guests can enjoy a wide range of menus and dishes. Special diets are catered for. Chef-proprietor John Roberts, a member of the Master Chefs of Great Britain produces wonderful food focusing on modern European dishes with a emphasis on local produce.
Ground floor restaurant and bar
With exposed beams, open fire and feature well race the restaurant bar offers an extensive menu with full meals to light snacks, daily specials and special two/three course lunch. With real ale and a extensive wine list, food is available lunchtimes Tuesday - Sunday and for dinner Monday – Saturday.
Sample dishes include, connemara mussels, pan-fried scallops, ham terrine, beef bresola salad, crab & salmon fishcakes: pan fried fillet of sea bass, roast breast of gressingham duck, pan-fried pork loin cutlet, char-grilled fillet steak and much more. Desserts include apple strudel, crème brulee, bakewell tart.
Millers Restaurant
This lovely first floor dining room with exposed beams and views across the countryside is open for dinner Wednesday - Saturdays and for Sunday lunch. Available at other times for special parties and functions the restaurant offers a regularly changing menu. Featured dishes include honey-roasted quail, warm smoked duck salad, pan-fried scallops, ham terrine; seared fillet of sea bass, pan-fried medallions of beef fillet and much more.
The Woodthorpe suite
Accommodating up to 20 guests our first floor private dining suite provides a lovely setting for that special occasion, family celebration or business event. A wide range of dining packages are available combining specially created menus with carefully selected wines and liqueurs.
